--smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 200\/150;\" \/><\/a>Founded in 1984 as the Sindos Philharmonic, with Georgios Avramoglou as its teacher, it is today part of the Social and Cultural Organisation of the Municipality of Delta, strengthening its cultural work.<\/p><p>Throughout its history, it has performed in concerts, philharmonic festivals, orchestra<br \/>meetings and numerous musical and cultural events, both locally and internationally.<\/p><p>The orchestra has 45 members and its repertoire includes: symphonic music, contemporary compositions, film music, Greek music, swing, jazz, pop and rock.<\/p><p>Since 1993, the orchestra has been conducted by maestro Miltiadis Polychronidis.<\/p><h3><strong>Key participations and distinctions:<\/strong><\/h3><ul><li>December 1995:
