Banda Musicale Città di Castignano

The Banda Musicale Città di Castignano traces its origins to a historic document dated May 1823, making it one of the oldest musical institutions in the region. Over two centuries, various conductors have left a significant legacy, each contributing to the band’s growth and artistic excellence.

Under the current direction of Maestro Giuseppe Boccucci, the band has continued this tradition with remarkable achievements.

Notably, it performed at the Aula Nervi in Vatican City before Pope Benedict XVI, a testament to its musical prestige. Locally, the music orientation course in Castignano, led by Maestro Boccucci, has nurtured many young talents who later graduated from conservatories across Italy.

As a non-profit organization, the Banda Musicale Città di Castignano is committed to promoting music and culture in ways that uphold the dignity and freedom of all.

Wind Band of Baia e Latina (Filarmonica A. Vessella)

Founded in 1994 and formally established in 1997 as the A. Vessella Philharmonic Association, the Wind Band of Baia e Latina (CE) was born with a clear mission: to inspire a deep appreciation of musical culture and to involve the wider community in musical experiences.

The band places strong emphasis on musical education and band initiation, aiming to nurture both technical skill and a lifelong love for music. Today, it is led by Maestro Nicola Di Cerbo, under whose guidance it continues to grow artistically and educationally.

The mixed orchestra is conducted: Giuseppe Boccucci & Nicola Di Cerbo.
